Storybook Favorites
There were a lot of great storybook's from previous semesters. My favorites were Tracking the Werewolf, Lifelong Devotion, and The Cat Gods & The Tales of Heraclaws.
The creator of this Storybook has a great writing style! He/She draws the reader in within the first couple of sentences. The aesthetic of the Storybook fits with the mysterious tone of the Introduction as well. They appear to coincide with one another. The writing style is much different than what I am use to, but this is a good thing! It brings a level of intensity that I am not use to. I think that using a different writing style would be a challenge for me, but beneficial in order to improve my writing skills. I have heard of werewolves before, but not in this context. The introduction makes me want to continue reading the Storybook!

The Lifelong Devotion storybook introduction used a lot of helpful information in order to allow the reader to better understand what the stories will be about. This showed a really great understanding from the author! I like the style that the author is heading towards. Taking one central idea and incorporating it into five different stories is creative! Using this concept will allow the author to use different writing styles from the different perspectives. It is nice for the reader because it is something different for every story! I think that incorporating something like this into my storybook will be interesting and will allow me to try out multiple writing styles.
This storybook instantly drew me in because I love cats! Using cats to tell a story is a great idea! I may want to incorporate animals in my storybook. This storybook introduction uses a conversation rather than flat out telling a story. This is different then the other storybooks I viewed. If I were to do this, then I may use different colors to signify which character is speaking. The introduction does a good job of showing what the entire storybook will be revolving around. In addition, it is very easy to navigate around the storybook.
