Wikipedia Trails: From Parrot to List of Highest-Grossing Films

This week I started with parrot. I read Tales of a Parrot and it made me start to think about what I know about parrots. I never knew that some parrots can live to be 80 years old! It is incredible that they can live as long as humans!

Next I went to Jimmy Buffett. I know that he is a singer, but I never knew that his fans are called Parrotheads. I guess my parents are Parrotheads! Jimmy Buffett is extremely successful in all of his businesses because it says that he is worth $550 million. 

Next I went to Jurassic World. Jimmy Buffett made a cameo in the movie running away with two margaritas. How fitting! I saw this movie and really liked it. I never knew that it was ranked fifth among the highest-grossing films of all time! 

My final search was List of Highest-Grossing Films. I have a feeling I know a few up there pretty high on the list, like Titanic. Titanic is ranked #2 and has made $2.18 billion! The highest-grossing film is Avatar with $2.72 billion. James Cameron is doing something right! Gone with the Wind is the highest when inflation is considered. Due to it being an old film, it is difficult to figure out how much money is has truly made!

Week 5 Story: The Tale of a Cat

When Wheel of Fortune came on, Tyler knew that it was his opportunity to play with his sister's toys. Sarah, Tyler's sister, loved to watch the game show every night. Tyler knew that this was his opportunity to steal Sarah's toys.  Wheel of Fortune Board As he approached the game room, the house cat named Mittens appeared.
